About Us
James Hamilton
James is the Kid’s Pastor at Bayside Church, Granite Bay, CA and founder of Thrivingkidmin. James has been leading in kid’s ministry for over 25 years. Originally from the UK, he has worked as an actor, writer, director, film maker, lecturer and kid’s pastor before moving to the US in 2013. James has trained thousands of children’s ministry leaders throughout the UK, Europe, USA, Central America, and the Middle East. He is also the creator of Relive Resources, an award-winning video-based curriculum for schools and churches. James is a certified John Maxwell Leadership Team Coach and has led ministries in a wide range of churches. James is married to Cally and they have two boys, Elijah and Joey.

On-site Evaluation
Whether you are looking to make small adjustments or completely revamp your ministry, James and the Thriving Kidmin team can observe, evaluate and provide practical steps to suit your goals. Included in an on-site evaluation is optional leader coaching sessions, staff and volunteer training workshops and presentations to kids.
During the visit, we will consult on all aspects of your ministry including programming, guest services, safety, policies and procedures, decor, curriculum, volunteer appreciation and so much more!
